According to Ken Rosenthal, the Toronto Blue Jays are ‘exploring’ the thought of signing Tim Tebow.

Ever since Tim Tebow held his workout in front of scouts, there have been reports that he could sign on with a Major League Baseball team. He would of course start off in an instructional league along with maybe some winter baseball and try to hone his craft in the minors. He had a pretty solid workout, where he showed good speed and great power at the plate.

According to Ken Rosenthal, one of the teams that could choose to take a look at Tebow is the Toronto Blue Jays. Rosenthal tweeted out that one of the scouts turned in a “favorable report” on the former quarterback.

This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, as it has been expected that someone will indeed sign Tebow. Whether or not he advances far is a different story, but as soon as he does sign with a team, he will begin working right away in instructional leagues and some winter ball if he shows some good signs.

The Blue Jays are a great team to take a chance on him and they have always had a good minor league system. With good coaching in place, Tebow will have the tools necessary to succeed if they sign him.
