The Miami Hurricanes and Adidas made a uniform change but this is one that we can’t really get mad about

When it comes to uniform changes in college football, we generally tend to cringe at times. When it comes to uniform changes in college football that involve Adidas, then the cringe sometimes gets a little tighter, as they’re not the most popular apparel provider in the world. However, Adidas and the Miami Hurricanes hit the nail right on the head with this one.

Throughout the years, we’ve seen the Hurricanes come out with some pretty outrageous uniform combinations, but these ones can finally make any college football fan smile.

Check out these “Legends of the U” uniforms that the team unveiled on Monday, which are a throwback to the days where Miami ran the college football world.

The Hurricanes will wear these on Oct. 8, and from there, they will become the uniforms that the program wears every time they take the field.

Love them or hate them. Miami is one of the bigger villains in all of college football, and that’s thanks in large part to their success in the 80s. They were dominant, cocky and brash, and they were all of that while in uniforms that look like the ones that you see above. Wearing these on a regular basis will certainly give college football fans a lot of flashbacks.

Adidas really does take a lot of flack for the uniforms that they spit out for some of these schools, but these were really, really well done for the Hurricanes. Miami was getting a little wild with the different combinations, and sometimes it’s just smarter to stay simple and with what works.

These are the only uniforms that Miami should wear for a while.
