The USC Trojans fell behind 7-0 early to Utah on Friday night. Then Adoree Jackson happened.

The USC Trojans traveled to Utah to take on the 24th-ranked Utes on Friday night, in a huge Pac-12 battle. The Trojans are coming off a tough loss to Stanford this past week, and made a change at quarterback heading into the game. Utah has a very strong defensive unit, and they made their presence known early.

The Utes forced a fumble on the first possession for USC, and then proceeded to run the ball down the Trojans’ throat. Quarterback Troy Williams scored on a 10-yard run to open up the scoring, giving the Utes a 7-0 lead. On the ensuing kickoff, the kicker inexplicably sent the ball towards Adoree Jackson, who then made the game interesting.

Jackson ran the ball back 100 yards, making a few people miss along the way. Showcasing his blazing speed, Jackson ran the ball up the right sideline, tying the game up at 7-7. The cornerback is one of the more explosive players on the USC roster, and he showed that on Friday night.

For Jackson, it was the sixth time he has run a kick back for a touchdown in his career.

On the next possession for Utah, Jackson again made a huge play for the Trojans. He scooped up a fumble by Utah running back Zack Moss, giving the Trojans the ball back. Unfortunately for Trojan fans, USC fumbled away the possession, wasting the solid play by Jackson.

This game has the potential to be a good one, as the teams are tied at seven with a little over six minutes left in the first half. USC has done nothing on offense, but their defense is actually keeping it close. The Trojans have fumbled the ball away on three straight offensive possessions, and that is never going to get it done.
