The LSU Tigers scored a winning TD against Auburn, but did not get the play off before time ran out in regulation.

There was a wild scene in Auburn on Saturday night. With the Tigers holding off LSU by five points with time running out, they had to make one stop in the red zone. Instead, LSU in a crazy play scored on a winning touchdown as time expired.

It was absolute pandemonium as no one knew exactly what was going on. What was clear was that Danny Etling found D.J. Clark in the end zone for a touchdown. Players began jumping on each other and everyone on the LSU sideline was going crazy. The fans in Auburn were left stunned.

However, there was a review of the touchdown. The review that took a while was whether or not the playoff got in time. After review, it became clear that LSU was not able to get the snap off on time and therefore the game was over.

Gus Malzahn and the Tigers became estatic, as he got a much needed win. With the Tigers needing to pick up wins for Malzahn to keep his job security, beating LSU at home is a big win for him.

As for the other Tigers in LSU, this is only going to raise more questions about Les Miles. It was an ugly game and they needed the win. Even worse, they thought they had won and had review strip it away from them.
