Tottenham finished the day in second place after a 3-1 win against Middlesbrough, while Arsenal and Liverpool move into the top four.

Manchester City stay top of the table after a comfortable 3-1 win against Swansea. The Citizens took the lead early on through Sergio Aguero, back in the team after a three match suspension, but Fernando Llorente hit back quickly for the Swans. In the second half, City pulled away thanks to an Aguero penalty and an excellent Raheem Sterling finish.

The big winners on the day were Arsenal, who thrashed Chelsea 3-0 at home. That was the Gunners fourth win in a row, and they now move into third place, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference. Liverpool weren’t too shabby themselves; they clobbered 10-man Hull 5-1 at home.

Tottenham had a big day as well. Their 2-1 away win against Middlesbrough was good enough to move them up to second in the table, four points behind City. Spurs have slipped under the radar a little this season, but the results keep coming.

At the other end of the table, Stoke were on the brink of their first win of the season, but conceded a stoppage time equalizer. Their point was enough to lift them up to 19th place, as Sunderland lost to Crystal Palace after leading 3-2.

Everton were the other big losers on the day, falling 1-0 away at Bournemouth. That loss allowed Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham to overtake the Toffees, while Manchester United trail them by only a point after beating Leicester 4-1 in the early kickoff.

Here are the full results:

Manchester United 4-1 Leicester
Bournemouth 1-0 Everton
Liverpool 5-1 Hull
Stoke 1-1 West Brom
Middlesbrough 1-2 Tottenham
Swansea 1-3 Manchester City
Sunderland 2-3 Crystal Palace
Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea

Tomorrow, West Ham take on Southampton. A win would see the Hammers climb out of the relegation zone, while the Saints could go as high as ninth with all three points. Burnley take on Hull in the last game of the weekend on Monday.
