Urban Meyer doesn’t have to coach his Ohio State Buckeyes in Week 4, so of course, he’s doing chores at home on his bye week.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had an impressive road victory in Week 3 over the Oklahoma Sooners to move to No. 2 in the nation. Ohio State has a young roster, but head coach Urban Meyer has his team looking like a serious College Football Playoff contender in the early part of the season.

With nothing but time to prepare for the lowly Rutgers Scarlet Knights in Big Ten East play, Meyer’s wife Shelley Meyer has her husband living the American dream by doing chores around the house this weekend. She tweeted out a picture of her husband cleaning the glass windows near their outdoor pool.

We’ve seen Meyer eat cold pizza in the catacombs of Ohio Stadium after a Buckeyes loss. He may be the best in-game tactician in college football, but he apparently still has the same household responsibilities as the rest of us.

It’s probably a good thing for Meyer to take it easy on his team’s bye week. He doesn’t want to over-prepare for what should be a certain victory at home on Saturday, October 1st against the Scarlet Knights.

He may have one of the best teams in the Power 5, but his wife is still the boss of him. Meyer might be riding high after blowing out the Sooners in Norman, but his wife put has clearly decided to put him in his place by making him clean windows on a fall Saturday.

Meyer should feel pretty good about his team not having to play this weekend. Big Ten East rival Michigan State suffered its first loss of the season at home to the Wisconsin Badgers. Teams are falling left and right in late September and Meyer is at home just cleaning windows.
