The Seattle Seahawks had no trouble dispatching the San Francisco 49ers at home on Sunday.

42. Final. 37. 36. 18

Through the first two weeks of the season, the Seattle Seahawks were scuffling, while the San Francisco 49ers looked much improve. On Sunday, things fell into place for the NFC West, as Seattle throttled the 49ers at home.

Whether it was being at home or the execution finally being there, Seattle got points on the board. Christine Michael proved to have a huge day on the ground. He would get the game rolling with a 41-yard touchdown run and the route was on from there.

As the 49ers managed a field goal, the Seahawks were watching Russell Wilson develop a little chemistry with Jimmy Graham. The big man caught a big touchdown and arguably had his best day as a Seahawk. The real threat in the passing game was Doug Baldwin, who had another touchdown as Wilson’s favorite target.

While the Seahawks were rolling and Blaine Gabbert was scuffling, there was a scare. Wilson was tackled and his knee bent an awkward angle. He was tough enough to stay in, but the team finally pulled him when the game was out of reach.

Going forward, the Seahawks’ concern will be with Wilson, but it was a big win at home. The 49ers will have plenty of questions to answer about their offense and whether a move at quarterback needs to be made.
