Fed up with the skeptics, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers comes out on Sunday and eviscerates the Detroit Lions. Here are his Week 3 highlights.

The Green Bay Packers looked lost on offense on Sunday Night Football in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Green Bay lost to Minnesota, 17-14 and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers received much of the blame.

He hasn’t been his elite self for many of his most recent games. People were starting to question is his jazz player, impromptu approach to playing quarterback was to the detriment of the Packers offense.

Rodgers shut up all of his critics with an outstanding Week 3 performance against the NFC North rival Detroit Lions at home. Rodgers went out and had four passing touchdowns before halftime against a lost Lions secondary.

He found his favorite target Jordy Nelson twice for Packers touchdowns. Rodgers would throw one to Davante Adams and another to Richard Rogers. Interestingly, Rodgers didn’t have to put up a ton of passing yards to expose the Lions secondary. He had all four of his first half touchdowns on fewer than 200 passing yards.

Here are the highlights of Rodgers’ stellar Week 3 performance over the Lions at home:

With a dynamic playmaker like Rodgers under center, the Packers are never out of playoff contention in the NFC. They’ll have to beat the Vikings at home later this season to have a decent shot at winning the NFC North, but the Packers do feel like one of the top-six teams in the NFC in the early part of the season.

Maybe Rodgers uses this incredible game to jumpstart what has been a stagnant Packers offense the rest of the way in 2016? Green Bay will only go as far as its star signal caller will take them.
