Everyone loves to watch NFL RedZone on Sunday’s, but can you get it for free this weekend?

Unfortunately, you can’t get RedZone Channel free this week from DirecTV. The provider does allow for fans to enjoy the experience free of charge throughout Week 1, as it does with NFL Sunday Ticket. However, the fans must subscribe afterwards or not get RedZone the rest of the year.

It’s unfortunate that it can’t be built into the sports lineup or simply be on its own. However, DirecTV and the NFL know they can squeeze more money out of you this way, and they are going to do it.

If you want to buy it, this would be a very good week to do it. The NFL has not gotten into its bye weeks yet, which means we have a full slate on the docket. After this weekend, we will start seeing bye weeks for each of the next two months.
