Raiders at Titans: Week 3 inactives
Here are the inactive players for the Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans for their Week 3 matchup in Nashville.
This is one of those potential under-the-radar games that may wind up being a turning point for the winner.
Both the Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans have split their first two contests in 2016 and each has done it in very different ways.
It’s the Oakland offense that has stood out to date, while the defense still has some kinks to work out. Meanwhile, Tennessee’s defensive unit has been stellar so far while Mike Mularkey’s club has scored exactly 16 points in each of its first two contests.
Head coach Jack Del Rio and his staff will try and keep Tennessee running back DeMarco Murray under wraps. He has flashed that big-play ability at times this season and currently leads his club in rushing yards and receptions. His 37 touches have added up to 222 yards from scrimmage and a pair of receiving touchdowns. The Raiders linebackers had better be prepared to be extremely busy, especially when it comes to Murray.
You have to be impressed from what you’ve seen from Dick LeBeau’s defensive unit. The Titans have given up only one offensive touchdown in two games and outside linebacker Brian Orakpo has two of the team’s four sacks. They will look to bring the heat to Raiders’ third-year quarterback Derek Carr, who is off to another solid start.

There’s potential good news for the Oakland defense. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that 2016 first-round pick Karl Joseph will be in the starting lineup at Tennessee. Oakland’s defense has been porous to date, to say the least, and the secondary has taken a beating in the split with the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons.
It all adds up to a very intriguing afternoon in Nashville for a pair of teams that appear to be on the rise.
