The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Denver Broncos at Raymond James Stadium in Week 4. Here are the betting odds and the trends to know with this game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2) will host the Denver Broncos (3-0) in Week 4 at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, October 2nd. Kickoff from Tampa will be at 4:05 PM ET. CBS will have the telecast.

Tampa Bay has dropped its last two games after winning its 2016 season opener against the Atlanta Falcons. The Buccaneers were blown out against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 and lost a tough game in their Week 3 home opener to the Los Angeles Rams.

Denver enters Week 4 at an undefeated 3-0. The Broncos clipped the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 at home, beat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 in Mile High, and knocked the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 3.

According to OddsShark.com, the Buccaneers are a three-point underdog at home to the Broncos. The associated moneylines are Denver -141 and Tampa Bay + 119. The over/under in this game comes in at 44 combined points.

Odds

Point Spread: Tampa Bay +3

Moneylines: Denver -141, Tampa Bay +119

Over/Under: 44

This will be only the ninth time that these two teams will have met. It’s totally understandable, as these teams play in opposite conferences. Denver holds the all-time series lead at 6-2. The Broncos have won the last three games against the Buccaneers dating back to 2004.

Here are a few trends to keep in mind with the Broncos for this game: 1.) Denver is 7-2 straight up in its last nine road games. 2.) The Broncos are 2-2-2 against the spread in their last six road games. 3.) Denver has gone over in four of its last six road games. 4.) The Broncos are 5-0 straight up and against the spread in its last five games.

With Tampa Bay, here are some trends to keep in mind: 1.) Tampa Bay is 5-13 in its last 18 home games against the spread. 2.) The Buccaneers are 3-15 in their last 18 home games straight up. 3.) Tampa Bay has gone over in six of its last nine home games and over in five of its last six games overall. 4.) The Buccaneers are 1-6 against the spread and straight up in its last seven games.

While back-to-back road games for the Broncos is what is probably keeping the spread this tight, Denver is the better team and should crush the Buccaneers in Week 4. Though Tampa Bay needs to win this game to keep pace with winner of the Falcons/Panthers game in Week 4, quarterback Jameis Winston is about to be buzz sawed by Wade Phillips’ Denver defense.

This is one of the easiest games to bet on this weekend. Swallow the three points and take Denver with the over. The Broncos are rolling and Tampa Bay has anything but a home field advantage at Raymond James. Unless the Broncos defense completely neutralizes Dirk Koetter’s offense, this game should eclipse the 44 point over/under threshold. This one could be ugly for the Buccaneers.
