Here’s how you can watch Thursday night’s Connecticut vs Houston game live from Texas online.

Tom Herman has done a fantastic job with the Houston Cougars in just over one season. He has posted a 17-1 overall record, learning from one of the best in his previous job, Urban Meyer. His success has drawn rumored interest from the LSU Tigers who would be silly not to pursue the young coach.

As for now, he’s staying in Houston and has one goal in mind for 2016: College Football Playoff. The Cougars, behind the arm and legs of Greg Ward Jr., are unbeaten and are one of a few teams that are likely to end the regular season unbeaten. Ward Jr. is doing all he can, passing for 936 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 113 yards and three scores in just three games — he missed one.

Ward Jr. has two targets who have broken the 200-yard mark already this season. Linell Bonner and Steven Dunbar look to lead the way, combining for 509 yards and two touchdowns on 37 receptions. The run game is also impressive, averaging just about 223 yards per game.

As for Connecticut, it’s been a while since the Huskies have been a contender on the gridiron. Known as more of a basketball school, Connecticut is off to a 2-2 start after losses to Navy and Syracuse and three-point wins over both Maine and Virginia.

Bryant Shirreffs, a junior, is in his second season as the full-time starting quarterback for Connecticut and he’s playing well. He has passed for 819 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions and a 67 percent completion rate. His top target, Noel Thomas, has become one of the best receivers in the country.

Thomas has already caught 40 passes in four games, accounting for 388 yards and a touchdown. Facing his toughest competition yet, don’t expect the receiver to go off against he Cougars in Week 5.
