Rex Ryan’s Buffalo Bills head to New England for a Week 4 matchup against the 3-0 Patriots. No one knows who still start at quarterback for New England, but will it even matter?

Trends

Whether or not Rex Ryan put a good game plan together for Sunday is to be determined.

But one thing is for sure, he certainly made a fool of himself in the media this week. It started when he did his best impersonation of Bill Belichick. Warning: painfully awkward.

Then he proceeded to try and swindle any sort of information he could get out of Patriots receiver Julian Edelman.

So yeah, it’s been an entertaining week thus far for Ryan. The bigger question is can he keep Sunday’s game entertaining?

The Bills announced today that receiver Sammy Watkins has been placed on the Injured Reserve list, where he’ll have to miss at least eight weeks of the season. This leaves the door open for a potential Week 12 return in December. Buffalo signed receiver Justin Hunter, who was waived two days ago by the Miami Dolphins.

More on FanSided:

Last week at home against the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo was able to muster up on the ground to come out on top 33-18. The upset win kept Ryan’s job safe for at least a week. New England very well might make his seat hot again on Sunday.

The Patriots won’t let the Bills run up and down them like the Cardinals did last week. Besides, the Bills weren’t able to do much in the passing game either, something they’ll have to do Sunday to pull out an upset. Tyrod Taylor got by last week running the ball, taking advantage of a very vulnerable Cardinals defense who surprisingly weren’t prepared for the game.

Odds

Line: NE -6.5

Over/Under: 43.5

I’ll take a Pats cover here. There’s no reason to believe otherwise. If Buffalo keeps it within seven, I’d be quite impressed.

As impressive as last week’s win was, I doubt they can match it this week on the road against a divisional opponent.
