Just two short weeks ago, the Florida State Seminoles were getting embarrassed by the Louisville Cardinals. Since then, it seems like the ACC and college football fans have soured on FSU. Of course, it seems like the Cards might be the real deal. Thus, Jimbo Fisher and company are left with a chance to prove they can be a viable threat to anyone in the country. That plight continues in week 5 as they welcome the North Carolina Tar Heels to Doak Campbell Stadium.

Fisher’s Seminoles have been lackluster to say the least this season. No matter how many flashes or big plays that Dalvin Cook and Deondre Francois have busted open, that’s not been enough. What’s important is that this defense has been incredible vulnerable. However, the interesting wrinkle in this matchup is that they go up against a team with the same problem.

Mitch Trubisky and the North Carolina offense can put big numbers on the board. However, they are often left having to because they seemingly routinely allow their opponents to do the same. Going up against a Florida State offense with that kind of tremendous firepower, this could be a long day at the office on Saturday.
