This weekend was a doozy in the world of College Football, but how will things shakeup in the AP Poll when it’s released on Sunday afternoon?

We had another crazy week in the world of College Football, and that means we’re probably going to see some shakeup in the Top 25. The poll won’t be released until tomorrow afternoon, but it doesn’t take an expert to know that things will change.

It could be that things will shakeup right at the top of the poll. While Alabama and Ohio State both won in blowouts on Saturday, they need to start looking over their shoulder. Michigan won a tight game against Wisconsin — a top-10 team — and also Louisville, a team that fought back against Clemson late.

Most of the upheaval was at the bottom of the Top 25. TCU, Utah and Texas all lost as did San Diego State and Georgia. All of this will likely force these teams to fall out of the Top 25. That being said, the fact that Iowa, Arizona State and other lost.

Here’s what we think will happen with the AP Top 25 this week after what we saw on Saturday:

  1. Alabama – Not losing to Kentucky means not dropping, mostly a technicality.
  2. Michigan – They beat a Top-10 school. In a perfect world, they leapfrog Alabama too.
  3. Clemson – They slapped Louisville around and lived to tell the tale.
  4. Ohio State – Not hating on the Buckeyes, but they blowout Rutgers which isn’t really that impressive.
  5. Houston – The big winner is Tom Herman, who is always coaching a different school with each passing week.
  6. Washington – Slowly but surely hanging around the Playoff conversation.
  7. Tennessee – The Hail Mary win was thrilling, but they still almost lost the game. That counts.
  8. Texas A&M – They didn’t need a thrilling way to win,
  9. Miami (FL) – The turmoil at the top of the rankings has helped Miami continue to rise.
  10. Wisconsin – It’s hard to hate the Badgers for losing a one-touchdown game they very well could have won.
  11. Louisville – The Cardinals
  12. Nebraska – They’re sticking around, even if they’re second-tier in the Big Ten.
  13. Ole Miss – Somehow the Rebels are sticking around the Top-25, even as inconsistent as they are.
  14. Baylor – The Bears almost lost to a 1-4 Iowa State team. This is a gift.
  15. Arkansas – This is mostly by default, but give it ol’ Bret for leading the Razorbacks this far.
  16. Stanford – They were doing so well too. They can thank Washington for this.
  17. Boise State – Is it time for our annual ‘mid-major needs respect’ conversation?
  18. Florida – The Gators might not be playoff material but they’re still making a mark.
  19. North Carolina – They’re 4-1 and just beat FSU. Give them some credit.
  20. Colorado – It’s the Pac 12, but the Buffalo need some respect.
  21. Maryland  The Terps are undefeated in the Big Ten and hanging with the likes of Ohio State and Michigan.
  22. Oklahoma – Give to thte Sooners for being able to hack it in a topsy-turvy lower half of the Top-25.
  23. North Dakota State – Iowa wasn’t a world beater, but the picking is slim at the bottom of the poll.
  24. Florida State – The Noles don’t deserve to be in the Top-25, but the poll will find a way to sneak them in.
