Here is your complete guide to the Sprint Cup television schedule from practice through qualifying and the race on Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Ready, set, Round of 12. NASCAR moves into Charlotte Motor Speedway as the second phase of the Chase for the Sprint Cup begins under the threat of Hurricane Matthew. While Concord, NC will be nowhere near the epicenter of the massive storm, there could be enough rain to delay or even postpone activities on Saturday and Sunday.

Sprint Cup qualifying should go off without a hitch because it is slated for Friday evening, but it is anyone’s guess what will happen once that is in the books.

In any case, four drivers were eliminated from the Chase last weekend at Dover and the field has been whittled down to a dozen hopefuls – Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson and Austin Dillon. Truex enters as the favorite with four wins this season and two over the last three in the Chase format.

All advancing drivers have had their points reset to 3,000. Any Chase-eligible driver who wins one of the three Round of 12 races – Charlotte, Kansas or Talladega – automatically advances to the Round of 8.

Joey Logano is the Bank of America defending champion which was postponed to a day race on Sunday due to rain. NASCAR faces a similar situation this weekend.
