The Ohio State vs Wisconsin game has been full of odd camera angles, which isn’t pleasing fans.

Ohio State vs Wisconsin is college football’s primetime game on Saturday night. It gets national attention for two top teams, and is featured on ABC.

Sometimes, these networks try to change things up for how the viewer watches the game. ESPN includes a strike zone for MLB, for example. Every network that carries football provides a line of scrimmage and first down line too. These have hardly been scrutinized.

However, there have been other attempts that failed. FS1 recently tried a new camera, which got crushed by fans. They quickly went away from this afterward. It shows how sometimes, fans don’t want to see networks try to reinvent the wheel. This may have been the case on Saturday night, too.

For Ohio State vs Wisconsin, ABC has aired a bit of a slanted camera angle where it looks like the action is diagonal to the right. It’s different from the traditional look that seems like you’re viewing the game directly and a bit above the sidelines

So, fans took to Twitter to air their grievances about the matter. Most of them were pretty angry over this.

While a camera angle won’t be the reason for whoever wins, it’s surely not going over well with the fans. The view is off-putting for those used to the traditional way of watching the game. It can hurt the viewing experience and cause some to turn off the game.

Ohio State and Wisconsin won’t be affected by these camera angles, but the fans are. We’ll see if ABC fixes these in-game, or if they’ll continue for the remaining three quarters. Either way, the game should be entertaining enough to ignore this.
