Rockstar Games possibly teasing a new Red Dead game

On Sunday morning, Rockstar Games tweeted a new image that’s potentially teasing a brand-new Red Dead sequel, which confirms early speculation.

For the last couple of years, Rockstar Games has delivered some of the best games of all-time. If you’re a gamer, you’ve heard of games like Grand Theft Auto and Max Payne. These games are extremely well-received by many, especially the GTA franchise.

They began with the GTA series back in 1997 and since then, they’ve gone on to work on a number of others solid games, such as the Midnight Club series, the Manhunt series, the Red Dead series, and single games like The Warriors and Bully. But, there’s no doubt that one of their greatest games of all-time is Red Dead Redemption, which is a successor to Red Dead Revolver.

Releasing back in 2010, the game is set in a western setting and many of the gameplay elements are similar to that of GTA. Both games are an open world, third-person, action-adventure game, where you travel the world completing different missions (both main story missions and side quests) and you have complete freedom to decide what you do next.

Where Red Dead Redemption excels is its story. The ability to travel around on a horse and engage in combat is incredible, but the story that is taking place throughout the games entirety is amazing and engaging.

Many faithfuls have been hoping for a sequel to this game for quite some time and although it has been rumored and many have speculated for the past couple of years, Rockstar Games may finally be moving forward with it.

On Saturday, Rockstar Games tweeted out a new image. Check it out below:

The image doesn’t show much of anything. It’s a red background with a black-outlined Rockstar Games logo right in the middle. But, the big factor here is the red color since that’s the same color of the Red Dead Redemption game cover. The details in the background are also very similar to that of the game case.

Needless to say, Twitter is losing their minds right now and in just over two hours, the new tweet has almost reached 40,000 retweets, which shows how popular this game is and how anticipated it really is.

Maybe it’s all just speculation and our excitement is getting the best of us, but we have a strong feeling that we’ll be getting a new Red Dead game soon.
