The Broncos have returned to the polls under head coach Bryan Harsin. They’re off to their best start since the Chris Petersen era and will look to go to 7-0 on Thursday. Doing so could get them even closer to the edge of the top 10. They are coming off a 28-23 win last week despite facing a furious comeback from Colorado State in the fourth quarter.

Brett Rypien has led Boise State at the quarterback position. He’s provided steady production with 1,622 yards, 12 touchdowns and just three interceptions. Most recently, the sophomore standout put up 207 yards and one passing touchdown vs Colorado State. His main target has been wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck, who has racked up 701 receiving yards on only 38 receptions. Sperbeck has six touchdowns to go along with his stellar yards per reception average.

BYU comes into this game at 4-3 after struggling through the first four weeks of the year. The Cougars defeated Arizona but proceeded to lose three consecutive games. Since then, they beat Toledo, the disappointing Michigan State Spartans and Mississippi State. Their offense has been solid behind dual-threat quarterback Taysom Hill. He has managed to stay healthy this season after struggling to stay on the field for most of his college career.
