A look at how to watch Saturday’s game between SMU and Houston online.

On Saturday night, the No. 11-ranked Houston Cougars will travel to face the SMU Mustangs. This will take place at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas, TX.

Houston started the college football season as one of the nation’s hottest teams. They knocked off No. 3 Oklahoma in the opening week, then breezed through the next four weeks. However, any potential College Football Playoff hopes they had got sidetracked two weeks ago. This saw Navy upset them, 46-40. Things didn’t change much in the following game either as the Cougars had to come from behind to beat Tulsa, 38-31. SMU isn’t close to being a top team, but given how Tom Herman’s squad has been inconsistent, could we see an upset?

Despite the recent adversity, quarterback Greg Ward Jr. has been effective for Houston. He has thrown for over 600 yards in the past two weeks and nearly 250 rushing yards. His dual-threat ability has kept Houston in games and is a reason why this team is highly ranked.

SMU comes into this game at 2-4, having been roughed up the past few weeks by TCU, Temple, and Tulsa. Their only wins came against North Texas and Liberty, so this Mustang team isn’t quite the best school out there.

SMU’s offense hasn’t done much in the passing game, but has a steady group of running backs. Braden West had put up 521 yards and three touchdowns while Ke’Mon Freeman has 286 yards on the ground.
