The Atlanta Falcons will host the San Diego Chargers for a 4:05 PM ET kickoff in Week 7. Here are all the highlights, a game recap, and the final score.

0. 44. 0. 13. Final

The Atlanta Falcons will host the San Diego Chargers for a late afternoon kickoff at the Georgia Dome on Sunday. Start time is at 4:05 PM ET and FOX will have the telecast.

San Diego is 2-4 on the year, but coming off its biggest win of the season in Week 6. The Chargers knocked off the rival Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football to essentially save Mike McCoy his job. San Diego is a better team than their 4-2 record, but still aren’t playoff caliber in the AFC.

Atlanta is 4-2 on the year. The Falcons split a brutal two-week road series between the Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks. Atlanta’s two losses this year are by a combined nine points. If the Falcons can play their brand of high-octane offense on Sunday, this team could be 5-2 and in full control of the NFC South.

Three Stars

  1. Matt Ryan: Ryan has been the NFL MVP through the first six weeks. He’s guaranteed to throw for over 200 yards weekly. Look for Ryan to complete 62% of his passes for 350 yards, three touchdowns, but one turnover.
  2. Devonta Freeman: San Diego has a better than average defense, but the Falcons have two terrific tailbacks. Look for Freeman to have 145 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns for Atlanta.
  3. Philip Rivers: Atlanta’s secondary will give up a bunch of empty yards through the air. Look for Rivers to have a great fantasy day by completing 65% of his passes for 325 yards and two passing touchdowns.
