The start time of Game 2 of the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians has been moved up because of weather concerns.

It’s time to adjust your preferred recording devices. After a raucous Game 1 of the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians, the two will go at it again on Tuesday night. However, the time of the game is changing.

Since the Cleveland area is expected to get pelted with rain tomorrow at some point, the start time of the game has been moved up an hour. The start time of the game will now take place at 7:08 p.m. ET. The announcement was made during the broadcast on FOX.

With two teams playing in cities that often experience winter weather conditions this time of year, it’s not unusual for there to be some weather issues. The league obviously has a feeling that pushing the game up will help beat the rain.

However, it’s tough to predict nature and it could always arrive sooner than anticipated or not arrive at all. Whatever information they had, they felt it was necessary enough to move the game and not try to affect a game that will help play a role in determining a champion.
