Here is your complete guide to the Sprint Cup television schedule from practice through qualifying and the race on Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series moves into the homestretch of the 2016 season for races 33-35, and it all begins on the 0.526 mile “Paperclip” at Martinsville Speedway this Sunday.

Friday’s qualifying will set the field for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500, the first event in the Round of 8 as Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano will look to get the best starting spot at NASCAR’s smallest track.

Of interest to fans might be who is piloting the No. 88 Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports because it could very well be the final race of Jeff Gordon’s Hall of Fame career. He has been splitting seat time with Alex Bowman since Dale Earnhardt Jr. was sidelined with concussion-like symptoms and despite his retirement a year ago, he only came back to help out his old boss.

Ironically, he is the defending champion in the fall Martinsville race and leads all active drivers in wins, top-5s and top-10s, average finish (6.8) and driver rating (119.5) and could play spoiler if this goes down as his final outing. Additionally, if he leads 64 of the 500 laps, he will become only the sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver all time to lead 25,000 or more laps, joining NASCAR Hall of Famers Petty, Cale Yarborough, Bobby Allison, Dale Earnhardt and David Pearson.
