Miscommunication between Cleveland Indians outfielders Tyler Naquin and Lonnie Chisenhall led to the Chicago Cubs tacking on a couple of runs.

With a chance to win the World Series on Tuesday night, the Cleveland Indians got off to as bad of a start as they possibly could have. After Kris Bryant crushed a home run to give his team the early lead, Indians starter Josh Tomlin could not get the next couple of batters out. Just as Tomlin got Addison Russell to pop it up, his outfield failed to do their job.

Tyler Naquin and Lonnie Chisenhall both came together to make the catch, but neither went ahead and grabbed the easy pop fly as it just dropped to the ground. This caused the two runners on base, including Ben Zobrist to score and give Chicago a huge lead to start the game.

Naquin has had his struggles in the outfield throughout the entire season, but this one came at possibly the worst time. His team was hoping to get out of the inning with just one run allowed, but his inability to communicate with Chisenhall ended up leading to two more runs scored.

With the pressure mounting of already having a 3-1 lead, it sure looked like the pressure got to the Indians early again on Tuesday night. A routine fly ball became their biggest nightmare.
