Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell kicked quite possibly the worst onside kick in the history of football.

Chris Boswell just kicked the most embarrassing thud of a kick in football history and that’s not an overreaction either. As the Pittsburgh Steelers tried to mount a comeback against the Baltimore Ravens, they had to kick an onside kick to keep their hopes alive.

That’s when Boswell tried the dumbest thing ever. He faked with one leg and tried to wrap his other leg around and kick the ball. Instead, he about tripped himself and move the ball an inch. The ball has to at least travel 10 yards, so an inch is not going to work.

Hopefully Boswell doesn’t ever try dancing, because it became abundantly clear that he has two left feet and can’t move his legs so well. One has to wonder what his reasoning was here for the onside kick.

If he wasn’t comfortable kicking this way, then he probably should have attempted it with just a normal straight-ahead onside with his kicking leg. Instead, he set kicking back ages and this will be remembered as the worst ever.
