One of the best Game 7s in MLB history ended with the Chicago Cubs ending an 108-year drought. These are the five best moments from the entire 2016 World Series.

The 2016 World Series had two teams match up who were looking to end historic droughts without a world championship. The Chicago Cubs have been title-less since 1908, which was the longest drought in major sports’ history. They beat the Cleveland Indians who have a drought of their own. The Indians last won a title in 1948.

Game 7 was possibly one of the greatest games in World Series history. It had everything that an instant classic could have. This is one of the World Series that we will be looking back on in years and remembering how great it really was.

For Cubs’ fans, it was a moment that will never be forgotten. Over 5 million people showed up to the parade to celebrate with their heroes. For Indians fans, it was quite the opposite. They have to live until next season with the memories of blowing a 3-1 lead on baseball’s biggest stage.

Heartbreak, heroics, drama and triumph are what sports are all about. That is what this year’s World Series had. While it had so many great moments and great plays, these are the five best moments from the 2016 World Series.
