This week’s FanSided Top 25 didn’t see a lot of movement but we saw Texas A&M and Baylor drop significantly after stunning losses on Saturday.

No massive changes at the top this week, however, we continue to see contenders like Penn State and Washington State surpass pretenders like Texas A&M who struggled on the road this weekend. The SEC dominated most of the headlines this weekend and that’s where we start for this week’s FanSided Top 25 poll.

Arkansas had been in the FanSided Top 25 poll during different parts of this season and now we find them returning after their win against Florida this past week. Arkansas’ win against Florida also impacts the SEC East race with Tennessee and Georgia nipping at the Gators heels. Coming up for Arkansas is a huge game against LSU, this game is normally played on Thanksgiving weekend but now will be played in early November.

At this point, Arkansas is out of the SEC West race but wins each week will help them improve their bowl position.

You might not believe this but I still believe in LSU, they’re not just a different team but a more improved from what we saw earlier in the season. Last night revealed a few things that the Tigers need to improve on, offensive scheme and at the quarterback spot. Both of those can be fixed in the offseason. Look, LSU got shut out by maybe one of Nick Saban’s best teams ever, no reason to drag them terribly for it.

Up next for LSU is an Arkansas team that could give them the same issues Alabama did, especially at the up front in the run game. Like Arkansas, the Tigers are out of the SEC West picture but just need to play for bowl positioning now.
