Russell Wilson drops an absolute dime to Jimmy Graham for a 17-yard one-handed touchdown grab.

It is no question that the Seattle Seahawks have struggled to this point in the season. Despite coming into Monday night’s game with a 4-2 record, they have not looked like the Seahawks we are accustomed too.

Russell Wilson has been bogged down with injuries and it has shown in his performance. He has been a non-factor in the running game (44 total rushing yards) and the team only has 13 offensive touchdowns, close to last in the league. Jimmy Graham has been no better.

Putting the criticism of his play aside, Wilson has been nothing short of explosive in this Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills. Inside the 20-yard line and facing pressure, Wilson would complete a throw off his back-leg to Graham who made the one-handed catch falling out of bounds smothered by a defender.

Graham has been fighting to get back to 100 percent after dealing with an injury last season, to see him make a grab like this will be uplifting for his team. This came after Wilson has already recorded one rushing touchdown, set up by a 50-yard bomb caught by Doug Baldwin.

In his time with the New Orleans Saints Graham was a sensational tight end. Leading the NFL with 35 touchdowns (2011-2014), many expected instant gratification once he arrived in Seattle and that hasn’t been the case.

The injury bug has plagued Seattle, but with the play of Wilson and Graham they will be seriously encouraged that they are reaching 100-percent health. It is still early, but Wilson looks to be okay. If the Seahawks are able to pull off the victory it would be uplifting for a struggling Seahawks team.
