The Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks played a controversial game to the wire on Monday Night Football.

36. 25. 16. Final. 31

What is it about controversy in Seattle on Monday Night Football. The Buffalo Bills were the latest team to be the recipient of getting jobbed by officials against the Seahawks. The Bills would actually start the game scoring.

Jerry Hughes would bust through the line on a block and the Bills would be set up with great field position for their offense. That’s when Tyrod Taylor and Russell Wilson started to have a duel on the field.

The two would trade rushing touchdowns and the battle would be on from there. Wilson would find Jimmy Graham for two incredible one-handed touchdowns to give Seattle an 11-point lead just before the half.

That’s when the controversy kicked in on Monday night. Just as the Bills went to kick a field goal, Richard Sherman jumped offsides and ran straight into kicker Dan Carpenter. They did not call roughing the kicker on the field and then a weird delay of game caused the Bills to get no points before the end of the half because of official error.

In the second half, the Bills would not quit. They would get down the field at the beginning of the fourth and get within three points. The Seahawks would tack on one more field goal and the Bills would have a last chance. Tyrod Taylor’s pass fell just short after a great Earl Thomas swipe and the Seahawks would escape controversially again.
