NBC Sports duo Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth set to announce their first ever Cleveland Browns game together.

The winless Cleveland Browns will play their first and only prime time game this coming Thursday versus the Ravens. NFL Network will broadcast the game exclusively at 8:25 p.m. ET.

Fans who have been watching Thursday Night Football games all year will notice a change in the broadcast. CBS has had the broadcast rights to the first eight Thursday Night Football games. Now this coming week, NBC will take over production. Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth will be on the call this Thursday, with Heather Cox doing the sideline work.

The most interesting part of NBC taking over is the streak that will finally come to a halt.

After over 150 regular season games together, play-by-play announcer Al Michaels and color man Chris Collinsworth will be doing their first ever Cleveland Browns game. Collinsworth took over the Sunday Night Football gig from John Madden starting in the 2010 season.

If not for the new Thursday Night Football contract, this streak would have gone on for a much longer time. The Browns haven’t been on an actual Sunday Night Football game since 2008. Last year the Browns played Monday Night Football in Week 12. That MNF game was supposed to be a national stage for Johnny Manziel , except he was benched earlier in the week for lying to Coach Mike Pettine.

The addition of “flex scheduling” coupled with poor play by the Browns are two factors why the Browns are constantly left out. Sunday Night Football is also known as Football Night in America. With ratings as important as they are right now, Cleveland probably won’t be featured any time soon.

This upcoming game will be the Cleveland Brown’s sixth Thursday Night Football game since 2010.
