Michael Jordan, LeBron James, USWNT headline latest Fandom 250 Nominees

Some of the greatest athletes ever and some current national teams join the list of the 250 greatest fandoms.
As a site for the fans, FanSided is rolling out a comprehensive list of the 250 greatest fan bases in sports and entertainment. We’ve been releasing the list 10 fan bases at a time, with the official rankings coming out on December 6th.
The latest Fandom 250 nominees include some of the most iconic athletes in sports history. From past and present NBA legends like Michael Jordan and LeBron James to elite athletes like Serena Williams and Usain Bolt. Even boxing legend Muhammad Ali has made the list.
Along with all of these high-profile athletes, some of the most successful national teams have been added to the list. The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and the Final Five women’s gymnastics team have gone on incredible runs over the past couple of years, so we had to add them to the list of the top 250 fan bases.
Icons like MJ are sure to be near the top of the list, but we won’t know for sure until December 6th rolls around. Here’s the complete list of nominees for November 10th.
