Mike McCarthy’s Green Bay Packers look to snap a brief two-game losing streak this weekend when they tangle with the Tennessee Titans.

One of the game’s best players ever at his position and a second-year quarterback with a hot hand highlight this interconference tilt. The Green Bay Packers head to Nashville for the first time since 2008. There they will find Marcus Mariota, DeMarco Murray and an improving Tennessee Titans attack that is giving a lot of opponents fits these days.

Mike Mularkey’s signal-caller has upped his game this season, completing 63.2 percent of his passes for twice as many touchdowns (17) as interceptions (8). The one issue that continues to be concerning is handing onto the football. Mariota has fumbled seven times and lost four of those miscues. In last Sunday’s wild 43-35 loss at San Diego, the young performer saw two of his turnovers returned for touchdowns.

Of course, the Titans have a rejuvenated DeMarco Murray in the backfield. He has rushed for 807 yards and seven touchdowns in nine game this season. In 15 games with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, he ran for only 702 yards and six scores.

On the other hand, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers has heated up as of late. He’s thrown at least three touchdown passes in each of his last three outings. The Packers’ signal-caller has connected for 10 scores and just one interception the last three weeks. But it’s the Green Bay defense that has struggled as of late. The team has given up 30-plus points in three of their last four games – all of those performances resulting in a loss.

The Packers run defense has also looked very vulnerable as of late. Meanwhile, it was troubling to see how easily the Chargers moved up and down the field against Tennessee’s defense last Sunday. It’s hard to imagine this will be a defensive street fight. Green Bay gets back on track courtesy of a narrow victory.

Pick: Packers 28, Titans 26
