Florida State began the season by knocking off Ole Miss before taking tough losses to Louisville and North Carolina. They then went on a two-game win streak, but lost, 37-34 to No. 3 Clemson. A rebound win over North Carolina State helped ease the once-promising season for the Seminoles. This is despite being 6-3 with a shot at a decent bowl game this December.

In the game against the Wolf Pack, FSU had been down, 13-10 at the half. The score even remained in the home team’s favor going into the fourth quarter. However, one late touchdown from Jimbo Fisher’s offense proved to be enough to push his team to a victory.

Boston College has struggled over the past month. This includes losing three of the past four, two of which were 40-plus point blowouts from Clemson and Louisville. The most recent game came against the Cardinals, which resulted in a 52-7 score. It marked the latest blemish on this rough season for the Eagles, and isn’t going to get better with Friday’s game against Florida State.
