All Dede Westbrook does is come up with ridiculous touchdown catches for the Oklahoma Sooners. How does he come down with this one versus Baylor?

Oklahoma City may love Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, but the folks in Norman have a special Westbrook of their own in senior wide receiver Dede Westbrook. Along with Washington’s John Ross, Westbrook has to be a front-runner for the Fred Biletnikoff Award at the end of the season for the best wide receiver in football.

Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield has unbelievable faith in Westbrook to come up with ridiculous touchdown grabs. This catch by Westbrook on a Mayfield bomb might be his best of the season. How does Westbrook make this catch?

Oklahoma didn’t know who would end up replacing Sterling Shepard as the go-to receiver in Lincoln Riley’s Air Raid offense. After a few weeks, it became obvious that Westbrook would become Mayfield’s favorite receiving target.

On that play at the goal line for Westbrook, it had the look of what A.J. Green did at the University of Georgia and what he continues to do in the NFL as the No. 1 wideout for the Cincinnati Bengals. Westbrook is rapidly climbing up draft boards in 2016. He could very well be a first round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The booth would have to review this catch for a touchdown by Westbrook, but it was ultimately upheld. Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium erupted once this amazing touchdown catch by Westbrook was upheld.

Oklahoma may not get to the 2017 College Football Playoff with two early season losses, but nobody in their right mind wants to play the Sooners in November. The Sooners are poised to go through the Big 12 gauntlet unscathed at 9-0. This team feels like a lock to reach a New Year’s Six bowl game.
