Memphis Tigers star receiver Anthony Miller made a one-handed grab that might be the greatest catch of all-time.

The Memphis Tigers aren’t a team that gets a great deal of shine following the departure of Paxton Lynch from last year’s team. However, they’ve continued playing solid football and came into their Week 11 matchup with the South Florida Bulls at 6-3. Helping lead the way has been their star junior receiver, Anthony Miller. He’s been putting up numbers all season, but Miller made a catch on Saturday that would make Odell Beckham Jr. bow down to him.

Late in the third quarter of a tight game where the Tigers were trailing by four points, they looked the 5-11 Miller’s way on the right sideline. The throw, however, was a bit high and long of the star wideout. All that did, though, was ultimately just increase the difficulty level of the catch he was making.

Miller threw up his right hand and made contact with the ball. However, the ball had enough force behind it that it came centimeters away from slipping through his grasp. That’s when the Memphis star somehow grabbed hold of one of the ends of the ball and tucked it down for the completion:

I have no idea how a human being is capable of making that play. Even if Miller came down with the catch when it first hit him in the hand, it would have been quite amazing. However, the fact that he almost lost it and ultimately made the grab by the nose of the ball is simply astounding.

With the way gloves are made so sticky these days, we see one-handed catches far more frequently than ever before. That said, Miller’s might be the best ever. What he did on this play looks impossible and, for most people, it is.
