Keys to Victory

The Los Angeles Rams have to be able to run the ball. Todd Gurley has struggled along with the rest of the Rams and that has to change to give their young quarterback a chance. Goff is going to have a strong pass rush coming his way and has to make smart decisions.

Goff can’t try to do too much on the field. Miami is going to test him all day and he can’t try to force passes. He needs to make the smart decision and get rid of the ball if he needs to do. If he can do that, he will give his team a chance.

Lastly, the Rams’ defense needs to help out too. Limiting Miami on offense will give Los Angeles a chance. It took holding the Jets to six points to get a win last week, but they were able to do the job on the road.

Prediction

Miami is getting hot at the right time and Goff is playing his first game. A win doesn’t seem likely, but any flashes of great play from Goff should be enough to satisfy fans here. Miami will get the win and maybe Goff gets a touchdown pass or two.

Pick: Miami 27, Los Angeles 14
