Full match results for WWE Survivor Series 2016 with Goldberg and Brock Lesnar squaring off in the main event.

However silly the tagline for WWE Survivor Series 2016 is regarding “fantasy warfare,” it’s at least true in a sense. Wrestling fans have wondered over the years how different the WrestleMania clash between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar over a decade ago could’ve been had both men not been leaving and, you know, actually cared. Though they’re far older now, we’ll find out on Sunday in Toronto, ON for the pay-per-view.

Without question, Goldberg and Lesnar deserve the main event. However, there are some intriguing matches surrounding those two on the card. There have been some souring on the WWE Survivor Series card, but I’m certainly not among them.

Obviously you have the traditional Survivor Series matches to talk about with RAW and SmackDown Live going head-to-head. There will be the five-on-five mens match featuring the likes of Shane McMahon, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and six other top starts. Then, the women from both shows will face off with Sasha Banks, Bayley, Becky Lynch, and others all going to war. On top of that, there’s also the tag teams elimination match featuring the likes of American Alpha, New Day, Enzo and Cass, and more.

If that weren’t enough, perhaps the two most intriguing matches on the undercard involve titles. The Miz defends his Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn. Not only should that be a great match, but the stipulation that the winning brand gets the belt adds more intrigue. The stakes are even higher for The Brian Kendrick vs Kalisto for the Cruiserweight title. If Kalisto wins the belt, SmackDown Live gets the entire division on their show.

Clearly, this isn’t a show you’ll want to miss a bit of. To help you out, we’ll keep you updated with the full WWE Survivor Series 2016 results below as the matches happen. What’s more, each result will be linked to highlights from the match so you can truly catch up on the action:

Kickoff Match: Rich Swann, TJ Perkins, Noam Dar def. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Ariya Daivari

Kickoff Match: Kane def. Luke Harper

Women’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match: Team RAW def. Team SmackDown Live (Bayley pins Becky Lynch to win)

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) def. Sami Zayn (IC title stays on SmackDown Live)

Men’s Tag Team 10-on-10 Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team RAW def. Team SmackDown Live (Cesaro submitted Jey Uso to win)

Cruiserweight Championship Match: The Brian Kendrick (c) def. Kalisto via DQ — Baron Corbin attacked (RAW retains Cruiserweight division as result)

Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team SmackDown Live def. Team RAW (Bray Wyatt pins Roman Reigns to win)

Goldberg def. Brock Lesnar

Yes, WWE Survivor Series has two old-heads in the main event. And while the traditions five-on-five matches aren’t great, there’s real promise in each of the three. Survivor Series has a real chance to blow people away once it actually begins.

What’s more, you have to wonder if The Undertaker will be involved. After returning and announcing (seemingly) that he’s back for a while, the Deadman could make an appearance. That only adds more to the show and makes Survivor Series more of a can’t-miss PPV.
