Before you get to your holiday feasting later this week, start this short work week with some DFS fantasy basketball success tonight. This Monday the NBA gets the week started with a nine-game schedule. The NBATV-featured game highlights a Texas-sized matchup between the Mavericks and the Spurs in San Antonio. With eight other games joining that one on the schedule, there are 18 teams to pick from for DFS fantasy basketball. DraftKings lineup are scheduled to lock at 7:00 PM ET when four games tip off in Eastern Conference cities. The Warriors are in action on their trip in Indiana as they take on the Pacers. The other three games tipping at 7:00 are the Heat @ Sixers, the Suns @ Wizards, and the Grizzlies @ Hornets. At 7:30, “The Beard” and the Rockets are in The Motor City to face the Pistons followed at 8:00 by the Magic @ Bucks and the Celtics @ Timberwolves. The NBAtv matchup of the night featuring the Mavericks and Spurs tips at 8:30, and the night wraps up with the Raptors taking on the Clippers at 10:30.

One thing to always keep in mind on as you set your DFS roster is which teams are playing back-to-back nights. The Pacers and Raptors are playing for the second day in a row as they take the floor tonight, but no teams playing tonight are scheduled to play again tomorrow since its a fairly light appetizer for Wednesday night’s 13-game feast.

With 18 teams to choose from, there are plenty of picks to sort through. I’ve put together my favorite fantasy plays on the next few slides in my DraftKings daily picks. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
