53. It was an extremely rough afternoon for Browns quarterbacks Cody Kessler and Josh McCown. Each was sacked four times, the former was knocked out of the contest and the latter was stripped of the football. His lost fumble resulted in the Steelers’ final score in a 24-9 victory by Mike Tomlin’s team. The Cleveland defense had no answers whatsoever for running back Le’Veon Bell, who totaled 201 yards from scrimmage and his team’s lone offensive touchdown. Hue Jackson’s team could not take advantage of a team that had been vulnerable to the run as of late. The Browns managed only 33 yards on the ground on 13 carries.
Next Week: Hue Jackson’s team is in the midst of a three-game home stand (off in Week 13) and will play host to the New York Giants, winners of their last five games. Sunday’s loss to the Steelers marked Cleveland’s 14th consecutive overall loss and the team’s sixth straight setback at home.

Playoff hopes: None. Zilch. Nada. We may have to come up with a new category here for the remainder of the season. Thanks to the division that has zero teams with winning records, the Browns haven’t quite wrapped up last place in the AFC North this season. But they are awfully close.
. 0-11. Previous: .
