32. Special teams and turnovers cost the Cardinals a road win that could have kept them in the playoff conversation. Carson Palmer threw two interceptions that were returned for touchdowns, and Minnesota had a 104-yard kick return touchdown from Cordarrelle Patterson. Offensively, the playmakers struggled to get the ball down the field, with the exception of David Johnson. John Brown, J.J. Nelson, and Michael Floyd were targeted a combined 14 times, but finished with three catches for 21 yards. Defensively the Cardinals could not contain Adam Thielen, who caught all five of his targets and scored a touchdown in the first quarter.
Next Week: After a tough loss on the road, the Cardinals travel to Atlanta to face the first place Falcons. Atlanta is coming off a bye week, and should be well prepared to face the Cardinals in their third road game in four weeks.

Playoff hopes: Arizona still sits in second-place behind the Seahawks, but it may be too late to make the comeback. Unless they win-out like the Chiefs did last season when they won their final 10 games, the offseason will arrive sooner than later in the desert.
. 4-5-1. Previous: . Arizona Cardinals. 20. team
