The North Carolina Tar Heels face the Chaminade Silverswords at the Lahaina Civic Center in the Maui Invitational. Here’s all the info you need to watch online.

When the 2016-17 college basketball season tipped off, there was reason to doubt the North Carolina Tar Heels. Sure, they were in the National Championship game last year, but they also lost two of their biggest contributors to the draft. Subsequently, their ranking in the top-10 was based largely in assumption that players would take steps forward. Those players have done that early on, though. Now they’ll look to keep their early-season record clean on Monday as they start their play in the Maui Invitational against the Chaminade Silverswords.

The quartet of Joel Berry, Isaiah Hicks, Justin Jackson, and Kennedy Meeks have all stepped up in a big way through four games for North Carolina. Berry has emerged as a potential star and leader. Meanwhile, Jackson’s versatility and the inside presence of Hicks and Meeks has been huge. Toss in the effects of freshman Tony Bradley off of the bench and it’s been impressive to this point for the Heels.

Chaminade opened their season nearly 10 days ago with two wins in Alaska. However, they’re a Division II program and the perennial doormats of the Maui Invitational. Though it’s always fun to have them around, they shouldn’t have many answers for North Carolina on Monday.

This opening round matchup in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational will be broadcast on ESPN2. Therefore, live streaming for the game will be available through WatchESPN. Access the service online or through the app using a cable or satellite subscription to log in.

Despite their losses to the draft, the Tar Heels have looked like one of the better teams in the country. Moreover, they’ve been in Hawaii for several days now, so should be adjusted. This should be a blowout that Chaminade will not enjoy.
