The Fort Wayne Mastodons upset No. 3 Indiana in the Indiana Classic on Tuesday, and one fan celebrated in a very peculiar way.

The Fort Wayne Mastodons took on the third-ranked Indiana Hoosiers in the Indiana Classic on Tuesday, in what should have been a cakewalk for the heavily favored Hoosiers. Instead, the Mastodons hung tough with the powerhouse program, and actually won the game in overtime. In an incredible show of emotion, the Mastodon fans rushed the court, celebrating what has to be the best win program history.

Caught up in all of the emotion was a certain student who celebrated the win in the most uncommon way possible. Instead of jumping on a player, or hugging it out with the rest of the student body, this student decided to take a swig out of none other than a bleach bottle. While it remains to be seen whether or not there was actually bleach in the bottle, the incident sure made for a funny scene.

Hopefully for that student, and his family, the bottle was filled with some other liquid other than one that can kill you if you ingest it. While an incredible victory by a serious underdog is always good for sports, the drinking of something used to clean toilets is never the way to celebrate. Great job by the Mastodons in the game, but terrible job by this kid in celebrating what just may be the last game he ever sees.

Thankfully, it appears as if he’s gonna be okay.

The Hoosiers will likely keep this loss in the back of their minds the rest of the season. No matter who you play, you can never take a team lightly, especially in their own building. Indiana will likely be headed towards a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament this year, while that student will likely be headed to the emergency room for an extended stay.
