Live stream and how to watch the Quinnipiac Bobcats (0-2) vs. #11 Gonzaga (3-0) on television and online on Thursday, November 24.

The AdvoCare Invitational kicks off on Thanksgiving Day with the #11 Gonzaga Bulldogs meeting the 0-2 Quinnipiac Bobcats.

Gonzaga is riding high on three wins in this young season, including a 21-point win over San Diego State, and a rise in the national rankings that brings them into the tournament ranked #11. Coach Mark Few enjoys holiday tournaments as a way to prepare for the Big Dance in March. Point guard Nigel Williams-Goss says that “You get an NCAA Tournament feel, playing back-to-back teams from different conferences.”

That kind of fast paced, high level of competition serves to prep the Zags for the long haul after a competitive non-conference season that includes upcoming games against Arizona, Washington, Akron and Tennessee. A win in Thursday’s game will pit the Zags against either Seton Hall or Florida.

Quinnipiac comes to the AdvoCare Invitational on the heels of a 86-78 loss to Colombia on Monday. Five Bobcats landed in double digits, with freshman Mikey Dixon leading the team with 17 points. Quinnipiac has four new guards making a splash for the program, with junior guard Reggie Oliver scoring 15 points with four treys in the first game of the season against Vermont.

This is the first meeting between the Quinnipiac Bobcats and the Gonzaga Bulldogs. However, the head coaches have met before. Back in 1999, then assistant Tom Moore was with Connecticut and Mark Few was the top assistant at Gonzaga as the two teams faced off at the Elite Eight. UConn eventually pulled off the win and went on to take down Duke to win the national title.
