Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers had to be physically restrained after being ejected in overtime against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets played until the wire in double overtime on Tuesday night. While it was a good game with plenty of solid back-and-forth action, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers wasn’t around for the last frame of overtime.

With his team trailing in the first overtime, there was a foul call on the floor that Rivers did not agree with. As the official walked over to explain the call to Rivers, the Clippers’ head coach had enough and proceeded to flip out. He had to be restrained by his players, coaches and other members of the staff.

Rivers is a passionate coach on the floor and he’s going to let you know when he doesn’t agree with the call on the floor. In a game like this where a win is on the line, he doesn’t like seeing what he interpreted as incorrect foul call.

It had appeared that his guys had gone up on the play, but it was ruled they got too much body on the play. That’s when Rivers decided to do a perfect impression of the Hulk and he eventually made his way off the floor at the Barclays Arena.

Every win matters in the league, especially with a tough Western Conference that is always separated by just a few games. He knew he couldn’t afford to let games like this one slip away. Getting ejected and allowing the Nets to shoot free throws was probably not his best idea admittedly.
