Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford exited the game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night with an injury

To say that the Minnesota Vikings have not had the best luck in the world with injuries this season might be a huge understatement. On Thursday night they’ve received another scare, this time with starting quarterback Sam Bradford.

In the second quarter of the Vikings game on Thursday night against the near-unstoppable Dallas Cowboys, Bradford was hit hard in the mid-section and you could immediately tell that he was in pain.

He would be taken to the sidelines and veteran backup Shaun Hill would enter the game.

As of this time, there is no immediate update on the condition of Bradford, although it clearly looks as if it’s an injury near the rib area.

Again, the Vikings have had some of the worst luck this season when it comes to injuries. Really, an injury is the reason that Bradford was brought in via trade in the first place. Back in training camp, Teddy Bridgewater suffered a severe broken leg, causing the Vikings to go out and make a deal for Bradford with the Eagles. Then, of course, there was the injury to running back Adrian Peterson and offensive linemen.

The Cowboys went into the half with a 7-3 lead over the Vikings and Bradford was able to walk back on his own power. As more info on the injury becomes available, we will keep you updated.
