LeBron James lost a World Series bet to former teammate Dwyane Wade and showed up to tonight’s Bulls-Cavs game dressed in a Cubs uniform.

We’ve all been on the losing side of a bet and were forced to honor our deal, even if it embarrasses us, and LeBron James is no stranger to this feeling. The Cleveland Cavaliers star made a friendly wager with friend and his former teammate, Dwyane Wade during the World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs.

Wade won the bet after the Cubs overcame a 3-1 series deficit to win Game 7 in extra innings and win their first World Series in 108 years.

As a result of losing his bet, LeBron had to dress up in a full Cubs uniform to the Bulls-Cavs game on December 2. Now, we have the first look at LeBron dressed in his Cubs uniform and if you look quickly, he resembles Cubs right fielder Jason Heyward.

Wade joined LeBron as he walked into the United Center and had some fun with his friend.

Wade took a second to capture the moment and bask in the glory from winning the bet.

LeBron’s teammate on the Cavs, Richard Jefferson, doesn’t think this is a good look.

The Cubs twitter account, which is awesome, had some fun, as you would expect.

Chicago fans who have clamored for him to sign with the Bulls during his times as a free agent will have to settle for seeing the King dressed in a Cubs uniform because this is as close as he’ll get to wearing a Chicago uniform.

I have to say, as a Cubs fan, this is a glorious sight, and takes me back to November 2 when the Cubs won in the 10th inning at Progressive Field after Kyle Schwarber, Ben Zobrist and Miguel Montero delivered in the clutch.

However, the only No. 23 Cubs jersey they care about is the retired number of Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg. We’ll chalk this up to more anti-LeBron fuel for Chicagoans.

LeBron fans who double as Indians fans will feel the sting as a reminder they blew a 3-1 lead in the World Series, but they should be comforted knowing he helped overcome a 3-1 deficit when the Cavs won the NBA Title in seven games vs. the Golden State Warriors last season.
