Baylor vs West Virginia live stream: Watch online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Baylor vs West Virginia game from Morgantown online.
Baylor got off to a red-hot start to the 2016 season, going 6-0 and jumping all the way to No. 6 in the AP Poll. However, the wheels have begun to fall off as the Bears have lost five straight games as well as their starting quarterback, Seth Russell, to an ugly leg injury.
Russell was having a solid season before the injury, but Zach Smith has taken over and he’s done a decent job. In fact, he has passed for 907 yards and eight touchdowns with four picks in his limited action.
Fortunately, the Bears have a solid run game which could help them out during bowl season. While KD Cannon is an All-Big 12 receiver, the run game really takes the cake. Shock Linwood and Terence Williams lead the way with over 1,500 yards combined.
West Virginia, on the other hand, was having a College Football Playoff-type of season before losing twice in its past five games. The Mountaineers still look to be potential New Year’s Six bowl invitees but a lot would have to go wrong in front of them for that to happen.
Still, Skyler Howard happens to be one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the Big 12 and he is having an all-conference type of season. He has passed for 3,083 yards and 24 touchdowns with only 10 interceptions and a 63 percent completion rate.
Shelton Gibson has been his top receiver, catching 40 passes for 927 yards and eight scores, while Daikiel Shorts has been his favorite target, snagging 55 receptions for 815 yards and four touchdowns. Don’t sleep on Justin Crawford in the run game who is just 41 yards away from 1,000.
