The Navy Midshipmen will host the Temple Owls in the 2016 AAC Championship Game on Saturday. Here is how to watch this conference championship game online.

It’s conference championship week in college football. One of the important Group of 5 conference championship games will be between the Temple Owls (9-3) and the Navy Midshipmen (9-2) in the 2016 AAC Championship Game.

This will be a home game for Navy. Kickoff from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis will be at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 3. ABC will have the telecast. The available live stream can be found on WatchESPN.

Temple won the AAC East for the second consecutive season. The Owls edge out the 10-2 (7-1) South Florida Bulls by beating them head-to-head back on October 21st, 46-30. This will be the second AAC Championship Game Temple will play in. The Owls lost the inaugural conference championship game last season to the AAC West division champion Houston Cougars.

Navy won the AAC West outright in 2016. This is the first conference championship game that the Midshipmen will play in during the football program’s 134-year history. Keep in mind that Navy was a football independent forever until joining the AAC in 2015 for football only.

Interestingly, Navy still has a regular season date on December 10 against the arch rival Army Black Knights in the non-conference. How weird is it that Navy will play a conference championship game before it plays Army? Let that sink in for a second.
