After the announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite at the PlayStation Experience, we now have a new gameplay trailer. Looks like a ton of fun.

The announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was expected. Leading up to PSX 2016, there were numerous rumors circulating about a new game in the series. As soon as the press conference started, it didn’t take them long to reveal the new game.

In the trailer, we see familiar characters returning to the series. You know them as Ryu, Iron Man, and Mega Man. But, there’s also a new character who will be joining the roster. Captain Marvel will be a playable character.

It was only a cinematic. But, shortly after the reveal, they promised that they would be showing gameplay footage later that night at the Capcom Cup 2016.

Now, we have a new trailer that focuses solely on the gameplay. Check it out below:

In the footage, we see more of the same gameplay we remember. For those who don’t know, in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, you don’t pick just one character to fight.

Before that match starts, you have to pick a team of three. For example, in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, you can pick characters like Spider-Man, Chun-Li, and Magneto.

As you’re playing against someone else, you can switch in and out between certain characters. But, eventually, you’ll be forced to use whichever remain since the opposing player can defeat your characters one by one.

In Infinite, it looks to follow the same model. Maybe they narrowed it down to just two characters. But, we think this is just for trailer purposes.

The gameplay footage is packed with great visuals, cool moves, and non-stop action. The combos look better than ever.

We can’t wait to play it when it releases in 2017.
