WWE TLC 2016 full match results from Dallas, TX on Sunday with AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose in the main event spot.

Coming out of WWE Survivor Series, it’s safe to say that there were still plenty of unanswered questions. Truly, it felt as if both SmackDown Live and WWE RAW took a break from normal storylines for that pay-per-view. On Sunday, Dec. 4, though, it’s back to the brand-specific shows, starting with SmackDown Live. From the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, it’ll be WWE TLC 2016 taking center-stage.

Though the gimmick-match specific PPVs are sometimes a bit hit-or-miss, WWE TLC is a little different simply because there’s built in variety. What’s more, the card for the show on Sunday promises to be full of surprises, excitement, and great overall action. That starts with the main event as AJ Styles defends his WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. You know James Ellsworth will be nearby, but how he’ll get involved remains to be seen.

Perhaps the most intriguing match of WWE TLC, though, will be the women’s Tables match. Becky Lynch puts her SmackDown Women’s title on the line against Alexa Bliss in what promises to be a huge, brutal affair.  As if that weren’t enough, the pairing of Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton as the new Wyatt Family will be vying for tag team gold at WWE TLC. They’ll take on champions Heath Slater and Rhyno to try and take home the straps.

Moreover, rivalries will be renewed as Dolph Ziggler and The Miz add another chapter to their feud. It may be an earlier chapter, but the feud between Baron Corbin and Kalisto will also turn a new page in Dallas.

With all of this, some surefire surprises, and more, you can’t miss an instant of what happens at WWE TLC 2016. Starting with the Kickoff Show at 7 p.m. ET, we’ll keep track of the full match results from WWE TLC below. Moreover, each result will link to highlights and a full recap of the match.

Kickoff Match: American Alpha, Hype Bros, Apollo Crews def. The Ascension, The Vaudevillains, Curt Hawkins

Tag Team Championship Match: Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton def. Heath Slater and Rhyno (c) — New Champs

Nikki Bella def. Carmella

Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: The Miz (c) def. Dolph Ziggler

Chairs Match: Baron Corbin def. Kalisto

Women’s Championship Tables Match: Alexa Bliss def. Becky Lynch (c) — New Champ

WWE World Championship TLC Match: AJ Styles def. Dean Ambrose (c) — With Interference/Turn By James Ellsworth

Well that was certainly one shocking ending to WWE TLC. Even if you knew that James Ellsworth was going to turn at some point, it was still a bit jarring to see right here. What’s more, they worked it all in beautifully to a great match.

All in all, this show was absolutely phenomenal. The matches fans expected to be great were indeed, but the possibly lackluster ones also knocked it out of the park. This is how you do a minor PPV, everybody. Hopefully RAW can follow SmackDown Live’s example with Roadblock shortly down the road.
